New World Theme Release
New World was an adaptation of my 3rd theme. It is lightweight and suitable for all audiences. It includes a customisable social networking header that has it’s own admin area. Comments are written throughout the template files to aid your customisation. Once downloaded please read the readme.html in the instructions folder for general F.A.Qs. The latest version is 1.3.2 which was released on 3rd February 2011.

Just updated the theme to now include Post thumbnails and custom navigation.

I used the excerpt editor plugin http://www.laptoptips.ca/projects/wordpress-excerpt-editor/ Then put the following into the excerpt box when you write your post.

Then style it and position it in my stylesheet. There are a few other methods floating around on the web but this one suits me.
A very nice, airy theme. Thank you. Any chance of some clues on including a thumbnail image alongside the post extracts as you do here? I find the homepage a little stark without that.
