Welcome to this week’s edition of WOW weekly, featuring LogMeIn, Apple, the number 7 and a Microsoft trade-in! This particular edition should be renamed to fortnightly as last week I devoted time to having a good clear out (home wise) and spending time with my children during the first week of their school holidays. I also managed to upgrade to El Capitan which was well worth the upgrade! Sadly I’ve given up trying to install Windows 10 on my aging 5-year-old laptop.

Apple ended on a high releasing the iPhone 6s to the public and pushed out a minor update to their latest iOS 9. Welcome to WOW weekly. This week’s edition I will be focusing on the OnHub and I have introduced a couple of new sections Tool of the Week and New Releases in Brief. Since I last posted we have had the summer holidays, 2 weeks of which we visited family in England, our first visit since Shaun passed away, and I have also started a new job in a school which has been really rewarding and it’s also lovely to socialise and meet new people. Anyhow I have decided to collect a few items from the past week and wrap it all up in my weekly blog post. Enjoy!
When Google announced that it was going to shut down its popular Google Reader in July 2013 some said that it would be the death of RSS. However 2 years on RSS is still pretty popular and it still serves a purpose in the modern web.
