If you want to start creating themes, plugins or simply want to fix something in your current theme you can, with an ever expanding API the WP Codex can help you out a lot but with the growing number of WordPress development blogs you can also find loads of hints, tips and resources from around the web to cover all aspects of your WordPress life.
